Hi Monica, I know Kim has been sending you Sassie's (Brazyl'r first litter) pics.  She showed me  a picture of one of your toy dogs with your daughter and it is identical to a little Mi-Ki named Beau that I got last November.  Is that a Mi-Ki your daughter is hugging in the blanket?  My ittle Beau has no fear of Sassie and Sassie thinks Beau is her little boyfriend.  They play together so cute.  Beau gets possessive and we have to correct Beau, not the pits.  That's hysterical!  Do let Kim or I know if that little toy is  Mi-Ki.  Great dog with good pits , for sure, with supervision of course.  Still love seeing Sassie's puppy pic laying down with your sleeping daughter!  It's priceless!

i'm proud to say chevette (brazyl/jr 5/09) has hit 33 pounds by 4 months old and shows no sign slowing! i have some pics. of her from my trip thru ne. to sturgis will get em posted this month along with a few current ones. she plays with my uncle's am. bulldog four or five times a week and always wears him completely out!lol she is very bright and eager to learn i can see why micheal wanted to keep her. she still loves to eat too i'm convinced she thinks it's her job. she is much adored by the whole family, they hate it if i stop by to visit and don't bring her with. anyways just keeping ya posted i'll send you some pics by halloween

Hi Monica: It's been awhile. Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know how wonderful "our baby" has been. She was born 12/19/2007...so she's almost two. She was the runt of the litter that was small and you weren't sure how she would do. She made it to Washington and has been fabulous ever since! She is ninety pounds and is gorgeous! Her first litter of seven puppies was born on 09/09/09 and they are beautiful. Their eyes starting opening yesterday and I couldn't be more excited. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful asset to our family...we love her to pieces! -Michelle

Hi Monica! Sassie (Brazyl/Jr.'s 9/15/08 litter) just had her first birthday on Tuesday...Wooo Hooo! I came straight home from work and picked her up so I could take her shopping to pick out her birthday toys. She shops like a real girl! She knows what she likes and had no problem letting me know which items had her stamp of approval! It has been 9 solid months of high energy for sure - you had her pegged from the begining on that one8). Eating is still her favorite sport  which she still is convinced is a beat-the-clock activity so I still watch her during meals to help her slow down...like that's possible. So, I do the next best thing and 2/3 through her meal I have her sit and wait a few seconds and sure enough a burp comes. There will be no bloating on my watch! Whenever I go out in public with her, I am stopped by people who ooooh and ahhhh about how pretty she is and espeically how shiny her coat is. I've actually been asked if I put some kind of product on her to make her shine  - now that one cracks me up! I swear it's the dollop of olive oil I add to her meals. I came across that tip while doing research on pet foods. Olive oil helps boost the immune system too. Anyway, Sassie is doing great. I've been wanting to send an updated picture but trying to get her to slow down long enough to take a good picture is kind of like trying to nail jello to a tree (think about that for a second:huh:) As soon as I get a good shot I will for sure send it to you! By the way, she is what I call "evil smart." She has figured out how to open the doors in our house (lever handles rather than round handles) and she has made it quite known that she does not like closed doors. If someone is in the restroom and doesn't lock that door they are in for a real surprise because she will and has opened doors on people...LOL. How's that for intelligence?

Sassie (from Brazyl/Jr., will be 1 year Sept. 15th). I'm grandma/Kim Quintal is Sassie's Mom. Sassie is the dog laying in the grass with the "most shiny coat" you EVER saw. Kim's secret is Wellness dry food (chicken), 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 c. rice (approx.), rounded tsp. of good plain yogurt and she recently added a dallop of canned pumpkin and small amount of canned Wellness. Her two front legs are straight now (low protein diet to allow muscles to catch up to rapid bone growth) and pretty soon she will be able to play (e.g., WWE smackdown style), with our 3-year old male pit, Gotti. Taking our time with that part! If nothing else, it is the good food and olive oil for that beautiful coat. Sassie hardly sheds either, another benefit! Brazyl is absolutely beautiful and we look forward to seeing her last litter!
